1. Information Collection
We collect information that you provide directly to us when you create an account, such as your business name, GST number, email address, and billing details. This data is essential for generating GST-compliant documents.
2. Log Files
GST Maker follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, GST Maker uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
4. Data Storage & Infrastructure
Your data is securely stored using Supabase, a trusted open-source backend platform built on PostgreSQL. Supabase enforces Row Level Security (RLS), which means your data is completely isolated — no other user can ever access your invoices, business details, or any information you provide. All data is stored on encrypted servers and is accessible only by you.
5. We Never Sell Your Data
GST Maker does not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal or business data with any third party for commercial purposes — ever. Your invoice data, GST number, business name, and client details are yours alone. We have no advertising partners, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising of any kind.
6. Third Party Services
GST Maker uses the following trusted third-party services solely to operate the platform: Supabase for database and authentication, and Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the product. These services have their own privacy policies and do not receive your invoice or business data.
7. Data Security
We use secure transport (HTTPS) for all data transfers. Access to your account is protected using strong authentication provided by Supabase Auth. The application is designed with privacy-first controls to ensure your business data remains fully confidential. We do not store any sensitive payment information on our servers.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your data at any time. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, please contact us and we will process your request within 7 business days.
